Serums in Skincare | Nicole Contos Insider Tips

It’s time to lighten up! Here’s all you need to know about what serums can do for the skin:

Why Include Serums in My Skincare Regime?

Serums penetrate deep within the skin without weighing you down with occlusives or thickening agents.  A serum will pack a powerful punch of highly concentrated active ingredients of a smaller molecule size. It’s a perfect forumation to deliver results without suffocating the skin.

Is a Serum a Moisturizer?

It’s true that serums can be full of hydrating active ingredients, like hyaluronic acid and ceramides, which helps skin retain moisture. But they are not moisturizers in the traditional sense. A face lotion or cream is designed to sit on top of the skin and act as a barrier. On the other hand, the smaller particle size of a serum makes it particularly suited to absorb quickly into the skin instead of sitting on its surface.

Which Serum is Right for Me?

The Nicole Contos Signature Skincare Line offers a comprehensive line of serums that contain different active ingredients. Find out which formulation is right for your individual skincare concerns:
