Our Response to COVID-19

One thing binds us together during these unprecedented times – we have all been impacted by the coronavirus. It is our belief that this shared connection will inspire us to rise to the occasion of the “new normal”.

As New Yorkers, we are defined by our resiliency and creativity in the face of challenges. Let us all continue to rely on these strengths, as we find ways to be together as safely as possible.

At Smooth Synergy, we have always maintained a sanitary environment that is on par with any doctor’s office. Because your health is our top priority, we are putting heightened measures in place, in order to ensure a safe environment.

Please take a moment to review our comprehensive plan. It is designed to safeguard the health and well-being of our clients, team members and community now and until we put this crisis behind us.

What Social Distancing Measures Are You Taking?

Additional Operating Hours

Extended hours allow us to:

  • Stagger appointments to minimize wait times and limit the number of
    clients in the office at any given time.
  • Adjust shifts of team members, so they may travel at off-peak hours.
Seamless Check-In
  • Our goal is to direct you to your treatment room upon arrival to bypass any
    common areas.
  • In the unlikely event that your treatment room is not ready, you will be
    directed to a special waiting area away from other clients.
  • We ask that you not arrive early, in order to limit wait times.
  • Please note that, at check-in, your temperature will be taken. A
    temperature of 99.5 or above will require that the appointment be
    rescheduled.
Expedited Check-Out
  • We will be processing payment and rebooking appointments from
    treatment rooms.

What Cleaning Measures are You Taking?

Our stringent cleaning protocols already include:

  • Complete exam room turnover in-between clients, including changing sheets,
    replenishing towels, disinfecting instruments and thoroughly wiping down
    surfaces.
  • A deep cleaning of our office nightly after hours.
    In addition, all common areas will be disinfected with medical-grade cleaning supplies hourly, such as door handles, elevator buttons, computers and bathrooms.

What is Your Policy About Masks?

  • All team members must wear masks at all times.
  • We ask that you wear a mask in any common area, as well as in the treatment
    room, wherever possible.

What Other Health Measures are You Taking?

Additional measures designed to keep everyone safe include:

  • Making hand sanitizer available in common areas and treatment rooms. We
    encourage you to use it freely, particularly upon arrival.
  • Requiring team members to regularly wash their hands.
  • Encouraging proper social distancing.

What if I’m Sick?

  • If you notice you are unwell before you arrive, please stay home and reschedule when you’re feeling better.
  • Because your well-being is our top priority, we are waiving all cancellation fees at this time.

What if a Team Member is Under the Weather?

  • All staff members will undergo a temperature check at the beginning of each
    shift. A temperature of 99.5 or above will require them to return home.
  • We require symptomatic staff to stay home. While this is standard practice at our spa, it bears repeating at present.
  • Staff must be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to work.
  • In the event that your provider is sick, we will offer a different provider or reschedule your appointment.

We also encourage you to reach out to us with any questions. We believe that
connecting with one another is the best way to address any concerns or challenges that may arise.
